Paul is the owner of two small businesses with 36 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including 30 years of management experience. Paul worked for 13 years on Capitol Hill including 10 years as a chief of staff. He also worked as the Charter Coordinator for the City of New York, director of communications for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Vice President for Administration at the Russ Reid Company. Paul owns and operates a government relations firm and a leadership training company.
Paul currently combines his executive experience and passion for Civil War history to conduct leadership training seminars for government, non-profit and private sector managers and supervisors. He has traveled across the country to conduct The Gettysburg Leadership Workshop - an indoor leadership seminar — for public and private sector leaders. In addition, Paul has conducted leadership seminars at Gettysburg, Antietam and Manassas battlefields for a wide range of clients — including the U.S. Navy, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy, U.S. House of Representatives, Arlington Police Department, Bluffton University, Cotton & Company and the U.S. Army.
Paul holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Fordham University and a masters degree in comparative politics from American University. Paul and his wife Denise have four children, Christina, Jaclyn, Elizabeth and Christopher. For the past 20 years they have lived in Chantilly, VA.
